

This helps to keep the ice moving around and ensures it is mixed well. Lots of people seem to want to know the answer to this… personally I would say that the blade is not ideal for that! With this drink the ice is added and then you blend the whole thing up, but there is a lot of liquid too. Yes! This is a frappe basically… an iced coffee made with coffee, water, milk and ice. Or a dairy-free milk if you wanted to make it vegan-friendly.

You could also use skimmed milk to cut calories further. Like whipped cream! I was making this in a rush and didn’t want to add lots of additional calories. The flavour of this can definitely be enhanced by using a few of the other add-ons that you can get in Starbucks.
